Correspondence and field visits
Bring the parcel to the desk
Write to the office with the parcel number, the county and the question you need answered. A short note is enough to begin. Every enquiry is read by a member of the desk and answered with a clear next step rather than a sales message.

Three questions the desk hears most
Start with the Lot Survey Desk. It is the reading stage where the deed, the prior plat and the parcel number are reconciled, and it tells both you and the desk whether a boundary walk, an easement review or a filing round is the next step. You do not need to choose the later services before the reading is done.
Bring the deed, any survey you already hold, the last plat copy and the assessor parcel number if you have one. A photograph of a corner stake or a fence line is helpful too. If a family member holds the only copy of an old document, a scan is enough for the reading and the original can follow later.
A message sent during business hours usually receives a reply on the same day, and a message sent outside those hours is answered on the next working day. If your enquiry concerns a filing deadline, say so in the subject line and the desk will move it to the front of the queue.
